Jeremy N. Miller is the founder and President of Miller Health Law Group. Jeremy is a 1977 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. In 1974, Jeremy received his undergraduate degree in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Illinois.
Jeremy provides Transactional and Compliance services for the firm. For the past 25 years, Jeremy has specialized in counseling medical groups, individual physicians, IPAs, MSOs, healthcare facilities, companies, joint ventures and suppliers for organizational, operational and regulatory matters, managed care contracting, third party reimbursement, hospital-physician contracting, fraud and abuse, "Stark" and other federal and state compliance issues, Medicare and Medicaid audits and medical practice and facility purchases, sales, syndications, affiliations, mergers and dissolutions.
Jeremy has published over 55 articles and has made more than 125 presentations
to local, state and national healthcare industry organizations. Jeremy is the
former Chairman and a current member of the Executive Committee of the Los
Angeles County Bar Association's Health Care Law Section. Jeremy is also a
member of the American Society of Medical Association Counsel, the Medical
Group Management Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, and
the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, and a former member of the
Medical Board of California's Corporate Practice of Medicine Working Group.
Jeremy Miller was recognized in 2006, 2007 and 2008 as a "Super Lawyer" by Los
Angeles Magazine. The peer-based award recognizes the top 5% of health care
attorneys in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
