Mark J. Dicks is a 1986 graduate of the UCLA School of Law where he was a distinguished advocate in the Moot Court Honors Program. Mark received his Ph.D. in 1985 from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and his undergraduate degree in 1978 from the University of Missouri where he was Phi Beta Kappa.

Mark provides Transactional and Compliance services for the firm. He specializes in counseling physicians, medical groups, IPAs, and healthcare businesses in a variety of areas including organizational formation, acquisitions, mergers and sales, HIPAA and fraud and abuse compliance, managed care contracting, e-health transactional and regulatory issues and employment law issues for management.

Mark is a frequent lecturer for local and national healthcare industry organizations on HIPAA compliance, e-health, managed contracting and other subjects. Mark is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Healthcare Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
